Company Deposit Identifier (CDI)

With CDI you can identify and reconcile electronic account payments that customers make into your bank account. It helps you to validate customer references (if required) upfront to ensure that you only receive valid deposits. CDI allocates unique codes to you, so your customers don’t have to use account numbers when they make deposits. CDI validates payment information from different payment channels (Internet banking, ATMs, cell phone banking, and Business Online). It is particularly useful if your customers make electronic payments into your account.

Receipt Reference Service (RRS)

This is a supplementary service to CDI and enables you to customise your company’s information on deposit slips and bank statements. This helps you to identify who deposited cash and who made cheque payments so that you can allocate the payments to the right customers. RRS is also used for large third-party collectors and retailers who must identify specific store deposits.

In essence, it’s a deposit slip that forces bank tellers to capture certain references on the system, which makes your payment reconciliations much easier.
